
Dakota Goodale
Dakota Goodale is a registered couple and family therapist and psychotherapist with a background in child psychiatry nursing. She welcomes children, adolescents and adults seeking individual, couple, or family therapy. Within a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space, clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful change. Dakota works with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, grief, relational difficulties, trauma and childhood trauma, and the emotional impact of chronic illness. She takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from systemic, attachment-based, trauma-focused, and psychodynamic models to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
Additionally, Dakota strives to create an affirming and inclusive space for neurodivergent clients and those who identify as LGBTQ+ or gender diverse, where all individuals feel respected, understood, and supported. Dakota is committed to helping clients deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, navigate life transitions, develop effective coping strategies, and foster lasting emotional well-being.
