Megan Maillet
Megan Maillet is a licensed clinical social worker with over nine years of experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of mental health challenges. She is currently completing supervised clinical practice as part of her training toward psychotherapy licensure. Megan is known for her warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach, creating a safe and inclusive space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
Megan works with children, adolescents, and adults (ages 8 and up), supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She is especially committed to providing affirming and respectful care to LGBTQ+ individuals and people from diverse backgrounds.
Her approach integrates evidence-based practices, including CBT and DBT-informed strategies, alongside mindfulness and insight-oriented work. She also emphasizes practical, problem-solving approaches to help clients navigate current challenges and develop effective coping strategies, while maintaining space for reflection and deeper self-understanding to explore patterns, emotions, and personal values. In collaboration with her clients, Megan works to build on strengths, clarify goals, and foster resilience, supporting sustainable progress and overall well-being.
